The Evangentials: A&E Total Request Live @ The Derby falls on October 15th. That's the day I was born. People must like to screw a lot more in February 'cause virtually everyone I know has a birthday this month. For me, this is the month that can break the bank both spiritually and financially if not careful. A present here, A card there, candles everywhere. And let's not forget. Rent. Car. Food. Women. Summer ends and the melancholy begins. The clocks change. The weather shifts. The prayers commence and the broken vows are renewed. The phillies are beautiful and they all have invisible boyfriends. The men are in sheep's clothing, seeking the elusive balance between mama's boy and marlboro man. The game is real. The game is insane. And at the end of the day the Genitals remain.

Brett,
It was so good to see you playing music on your birthday. You really give yourself in your music and in your friendship and both are always so enjoyable! I hope that you had a wonderful birthday, but more than that--that you're aware of what a gift you are to all of us... Also, I have never seen anyone rock out so hard on classical guitar.

Beautiful.

love,
